H.H. Grandmaster Professor Lin-Yun Rinpoche teaches us that the OX likes to keep a low profile. The OX is not the type to ask for the recognition and gratitude of others. Working hard, the OX is determined to overcome difficulties and calamities that are all around them. As Grandmaster Lin Yun is often fond of quoting at his lectures, “The goose struts, the cow bows.” For those born under the sign of the OX, this will be their Tia Sway year. All people should follow the example of the humble Ox. The Ox will be the first to receive the energy of the Year- it is a “headline year to face the energy that Is first to come.” The Ox should approach this year with caution, though; Marriage, family issues, financial matters, legal affairs and other concerns may present themselves.
People born in the year of the HORSE tend to have an argumentative, incompatible relationship with the OX and may experience conflict with the energy of the year.
